=================================
IT IS MANDATORY THAT ALL MEMBERS OF THE
CHALMERS INTERNATIONAL RECEPTION FORUMS
ABIDE BY THE FOLLOWING RULES.
=================================
The purpose of the CIRC Forums is to provide
future as well as current international students
at Chalmers with an opportunity to interact, share
ideas and obtain valuable information. In order to
maintain the forums' vitality members are
encouraged to create threads and post messages,
although in doing so they must abide by the
following set of rules.
Serious violations of these rules may lead to
warning or permanent ban at user- as well as
IP-level. CIRC reserves the right to remove, edit,
move or close any thread for any reason without
any prior notice to the members in question.
- Forum members must behave respectfully
towards all other members of the forum,
regardless of sex, age, culture, religion, race,
spiritual associations, and sexual preferences.
- Forum members must refrain from using foul
language, explicit or suggestive words, phrases,
images, and general obscenities. Threads which
contain racist material, pornography, spam, gore
material or harassment will be removed without
notice.
- English is the only language accepted at the
forums. Members who do not follow this rule will
be warned and ultimately banned permanently.
The reason why English is the only language
allowed is partially that this will keep the forums
as open as possible, and partially that CIRC
cannot possibly moderate the forums in more
than perhaps a dozen of all the various languages
spoken by international students at Chalmers.
We would in other words not be able to know
whether the previous rules are being obeyed.
- Commercial advertising in the forums is not
allowed and may lead to warning and
subsequent ban. However, it is allowed for
individuals and organizations to advertise for
parties, events and other information which may
be useful for Chalmers students.
